The Lumeum is located in the former swimming pool of the historic guesthouse Kloster Bethanien in St. Niklausen, in the canton of Obwalden, above Kerns at an altitude of 800 metres above sea level.

The 360° immersive experience conveys Swiss history in an impressive and contemporary way. Pupils experience the lives of Niklaus von Flüe and Dorothee Wyss and the context of their time. Historical knowledge comes to life and opens up exciting links to the curriculum.

The admission price is CHF 15 per person, regardless of whether they are students or teachers.
This offer applies to all groups visiting as part of a school association or official educational institution.
At least one teacher is required to accompany every 15 students.
For school groups travelling from further afield or who would like to experience the special atmosphere around Lumeum in greater depth, overnight accommodation is available in the Bethanien guest house.
