The Lumeum is located in the former swimming pool of the historic guesthouse Kloster Bethanien in St. Niklausen, in the canton of Obwalden, above Kerns at an altitude of 800 metres above sea level.
Nestled in a peaceful setting with views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Sarnen — a place that radiates both inspiration and tranquillity.
Whether you are a club outing, pilgrim group or travelling together, you are very welcome at the Lumeum. We offer special conditions for a successful visit. Visits outside opening hours are possible by arrangement.

Groups of 15 or more receive a 20% discount on the standard price. The group discount only applies to the admission price for adults.
For groups travelling from further afield or who would like to experience the special atmosphere around Lumeum in greater depth, overnight accommodation is available in the Bethanien guest house.
